Missions
Lead the design, coordination and implementation of agricultural and agrifood projects, ensuring strong planning, effective execution, stakeholder alignment and measurable improvements in food security, livelihoods and value-chain performance.
Tasks
Conduct needs assessments, baseline studies and field diagnostics
Develop complete project packages: objectives, activities, budgets, logframes and MEL plans
Coordinate daily operations with cooperatives, NGOs, government teams and technical partners
Monitor progress, track expenditures, and ensure full donor compliance
Train youth and women in project management and agricultural best practices
Organize stakeholder meetings, workshops and community engagement activities
Results
Coordinated projects that created hundreds of rural jobs
Strengthened key value chains (cassava, shea, food crops, processing)
Improved production systems, climate resilience and community livelihoods

SITTI Agro-Pastoral Project – Ethiopia
Objective: Strengthen the legal, sanitary and institutional framework of a 1,500-ha agro-pastoral program supporting over 1 000 community members.
Work Conducted:
Legal review of agro-pastoral, land and natural resource laws
Compliance assessment using FMHACA, Codex and SPS standards
Develop complete project packages: objectives, activities, budgets, logframes and MEL plans
Governance recommendations for safe food production and regional export
Target Groups: Pastoralist communities, women farmers, youth, regional authorities


Tortiya Mining & Food Crop Program – Côte d’Ivoire
Objective: Ensure formal mining compliance while structuring food production for 2,000 rural households.
Work Conducted:
Legal analysis of the Mining Code and Kimberley Process
Evaluation of traceability systems for 10,000–30,000 carats/year
Recommendations for integrating food crops aligned with National agricultural program
Target Groups: Miners, women producers, youth groups, local governance structures


Sierra Leone Regenerative Agriculture Plan (50K → 10M USD)
Objective: Establish a scalable, climate-resilient agricultural model across three districts.
Work Conducted:
Legal, environmental and social assessments
Alignment with FAO, IFAD and WFP standards
Drafting of financing plan from USD 50,000 to USD 10 million
Target Groups: 1,200 smallholder farmers, 70% women and youth


Youth & Women Agricultural Loan Scheme – AYAS
Objective: Develop an inclusive micro-loan mechanism for rural youth and women.
Work Conducted:
Legal review of agricultural credit frameworks
Design of loan eligibility and governance models
Structuring of repayment systems and safeguards
Target Groups: Youth (18–35), women-led cooperatives, rural micro-enterprises


Sustainable Cocoa Compliance – EUDR & Agroforestry
Objective: Support 3 cocoa cooperatives (2,500 farmers) with EUDR compliance.
Work Conducted:
Legal assessment of EU Deforestation Regulation
GPS traceability mapping across 10,000+ hectares
Guidelines for integrating agroforestry systems
Target Groups: Cocoa cooperatives, exporters, producer organizations


Shea Butter Export Compliance – Women Cooperatives
Objective: Enable international market access for women-led shea cooperatives.
Work Conducted:
SPS and quality compliance based on Canada/EU requirements
Review of contaminants, hygiene and processing conditions
Preparation of export documentation and certification files
Target Groups: Shea cooperatives (Madjikarité and others), women processors


Cassava & Attiéké Dehydrated Products – HACCP & Export Standards
Objective: Standardize the legal and sanitary compliance of cassava-processing units.
Work Conducted:
SPS assessment for dehydrated cassava products
HACCP procedures, allergen labelling and export documentation
Compliance review for packaging and shelf-life requirements
Target Groups: SMEs, women processors, local agro-transformers


Fonio & Cereal Transformation Program
Objective: Modernize cereal transformation systems for smallholder cooperatives.
Work Conducted:
Legal assessment of cereal transformation standards
Development of SOPs aligned with Codex Alimentarius
Improved hygiene, processing and storage practices
Target Groups: Youth associations, producer cooperatives, cereal processors


AgriHope Foundation – Nutrition & Food Security Program
Objective: Support the launch of 100 women-led micro agrifood businesses.
Work Conducted:
Legal structuring for micro-production units
Training on food processing, nutrition and packaging
Development of marketing and commercialization pathways
Target Groups: Women entrepreneurs, vulnerable families


Multi-product Export Compliance – SMEs & Cooperatives
Objective: Ensure export readiness for 15 agrifood products (powders, snacks, spices, flours).
Work Conducted:
SPS, labelling, customs and certification reviews
Preparation of full export legal dossiers
Harmonization with Canada/EU/US import standards
Target Groups: 10 agrifood SMEs, 3 cooperatives
